My Review:
In true Julia Kent fashion, this book had me cracking up from the very first chapter :D But you will find so much more than the typical for the author humour. The story is kind of a second chance romance with  a healthy dose of fun, sprinkled with mystery and topped with some hotness :)

Gerald and Suzanne are quite the interesting couple. Due to their past, there issues with trust, heartbreak and abandonment (mainly from Suzanne's side) that keep them from giving their relationship a second chance. The terror they lived through, while in the military, left them with scars that kept them from really living before their first meeting after finally coming home.  Their journey towards each other is full of difficulties but they manage to find the way to their hearts.

But nothing is ever easy. And danger follows them around every corner. And when you add to that the mystery of an ancient artefact, things can get quite confusing and difficult but definitely interesting for the reader :)

So, to summarise, I quite enjoyed reading this story. It wasn't as full of humour as some of Julia Kent's other stories but it was still an interesting read, a beautiful story of second chances.
