I'll be there.
Through thick and thin.
Ride or die.
You can count on me.
The promises people make. The vows we take.
Assumptions of the heart.
Emotion tells us how we feel, but life...life has a way of plunging us in boiling water, burning away our illusions, testing our faith, trying our convictions.
Love floating is a butterfly, but love tested is an anchor.
For Grip and Bristol,
Love started at the top of the world
On a Ferris wheel under the stars
But when that love is tested, will they fly or fall?

Review
I don't know how to give justice to a book like this. It was a masterpiece. Like, OMG did a real person really write such an amazing book?

I won't spoiler anything, because "Still" is a book that everyone should read only knowing that it's the continuation of the story of Grip and Bristol. But, but, it's actually much more than that.

The story of Grip and Bristol itself is already a strong message, they emblem this multicultural world where we live, but where unfortunately there are still many episodes of racism, and where understandably some minorities tend to stick together and criticise intercultural relationship (see Jade, and not only her). I don't live in the US, and probably I'm not able to completely understand the struggle of the black community in the US, but I read this book with my eyes wide open, and I can say that it was really really educational. In this book we get to see different prospectives, and each one of them is supported by strong dialogues, dialogues that made me really reflect.

So, this one was one of the theme and issue that made me love this book, but one of the parts that really made me lose my heart was the difficult decision made by Bristol and Grip. I don't want to say anything, but that part made me really bawl my eyes out, I cried, cried and cried, eyes swollen and red nose... I admired them, and suffered for them.

I loved the writing style of Kennedy Ryan, some parts were really like poetry, and I especially loved the poem Still. It was such a heartwarming poem, romantic, true.. that's what real love is.
And before finishing my review, I want to remember that in this book I got to read about TRUE LOVE with capital letters, because that's the love between Grip and Bristol.
